Internet Marketing Services

As an internet marketer of a number of different products and services (at last count 10 products and 2 services) I have done many hours of research into Internet Marketing Services.

You can benefit not only from my research but more importantly from my mistakes in picking marketing services partners for my internet marketing business.

First thing to get right is the purpose of your online business and marketing efforts. For one of my products, a healthy cereal, I inherited the designer who put together the existing site for the previous owners of the cereal. It wasn't until I checked what he wanted to include in the new site that alarm bells rang. I'm no technical expert so I drilled him on some of the features he wanted to build. When asked why was he building a email marketing system from scratch his response was "well, I'm a programmer."
I went away and thought that I needed to spend more website funds on marketing than on technology. So I handed the job to a resourceful internet marketer. For half the price I'm getting more online marketing features and off-the-shelf technology - which is all I really needed or my product warranted.

Next, is to determine your marketing budget. This will also help you to decide on an Internet Marketing Services company to work with. I find it best to assemble a team of experts from different online fields and co-ordinate them myself.
Decide which areas of your business you need to focus your budget on - maybe give them a priority. For my marketing services company I determined that a comprehensive website to act like a brochure was what I needed. Most of my business is referral based so potential customers look my company up online before deciding we're the right team to do business with.

My healthy cereal business is different. I needed a site that sells the product there and then. Therefore my internet marketing company needed far more work on search engine marketing, email marketing and social media.

The Internet Marketing Services company I employed was different for each of my businesses.

Sincerely,
