Affiliate Marketing

I make no secret from the start - I love Affiliate Marketing. For me, it's a great way to generate an at-home income, hopefully building it to no-need-to-go-to-the-office income...if you catch my drift.

As a online business owner (I have a healthy cereal that I market online) I see the value of Affiliate Marketing and business marketing online every day. I am building a silent but effective global sales team for my product. They get the benefit of marketing and making income a product they believe in (I only recruited from people I know loved the product...fortunately there's plenty of them).

I also market or act as a reseller of other peoples' products and services. On occasion I have even approached businesses who don't have an Affiliate Marketing program, or any marketing project for that matter, and offered to build their sales through this method. It's an easy proposition - let them focus on what they do best - eg. quality control, manufacture, distribution and logistics - and let others help you sell. Plus, they only get paid for sales they make with a pre-determined margin. This margin, by the way, is usually many times lower than the costs and time required to build and maintain a sales force.

What are the best products to affiliate market?
There's only one product or service to affiliate for as far as I've seen. Put simply, it's a product or products that you really believe in, something you can get passionate about, extoll the virtues, get emotional about.

So if you're looking to set yourself up in business internet marketing online I recommend seriously consider Affiliate Marketing. Of the millions of products and services on affiliate lists there has to be quite a few that you can get behind with all your heart.
